Alongside leading artists such as Anish Kapoor, Annette Messager (on behalf of Christian Boltanski), and Hans Ulrich Obrist, AR opposes this "unprecedented decision" in Western Europe, which risks setting a dangerous precedent.
AR emphasizes that democracy and artistic freedom are under threat and calls for united resistance. According to AR, the dissolution of M HKA—without broad consultation—must not proceed.
